  • So this is a really random question, but do you know if Echoed Voice’s power resets if the user of the move attacks a Pokémon that is fainted (attacking after the target has used Explosion, for example). Descriptions online say the move does not reset after failing into Protect or missing, but not sure if attacking into nothing is the same as that. Showdown currently has it resetting when attacking into nothing.
DUbers, would like to play Friday or earlier if possible but I can probably find time Saturday if we need. Pretty flexible M-F so just let me know what's good for you

Heya btw -- just wanted to clarify I never meant to discredit the insane amount of effort and work that researchers put into the sim, sorry if I worded it that way! The main thing I wanted to emphasize was that it'll be super rough to account for every possible change and a definition that works today might not even last until tomorrow is all. Sorry again hahah

No problem - I actually wanted to agree with your point that Hackmons as a format can change significantly between generations, but is often on the backburner for tests due to the minimum requirements needed. I just wanted to make it clear to folks that an official stance of "yeah, let's ignore cart mechanics" has a negative impact on the interest of researchers testing said mechanics.

Hey DaWoblefet! I found a bug about Miraidon in Gen 9 National Dex AG. The game thinks that Miraidon is an event Pokemon and wants its stats and Hidden Power to be Changed. Think you can fix this? Thanks!

    Evidence here-

If it is, it's a coincidence! It's actually in reference to a philosopher I like to watch who uses "demonstrably false" a lot, and I liked the sound of it but changed up the wording a bit.
